Google Apps syncs with Microsoft Outlook which means that users can connect Google Apps for email, contacts and calendars. In the past this was one of the hurdles users had to overcome when thinking about Google Apps. Oftentimes the assumption is that if you're using Google Apps you can't use Outlook which is totally false. Google Apps Sync for Microsoft just makes it that much easier to make the switch.
